ausEE Inc.

a charity dedicated to improving lives affected by an eosinophilic disease

Please note we currently have an ample supply of our knitted dolls and are not presently seeking volunteers to knit them. You can register your interest to knit them by emailing admin@ausee.org and we will contact you when our stocks get low! Thank you!

Knitted ausEE Dolls

Do you enjoy knitting?

We would love your help!!!

Our cute ausEE kid knitted dolls pictured here are lovingly knitted by volunteers so ausEE Inc. can donate them to hospitals and gastroenterology clinics to be given to children undergoing endoscopies or surgery for their eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder.

If you love to knit and would like to volunteer it's as simple as getting out your knitting needles and knitting the pattern (body and 2 arms) and posting them to us for stuffing and stitching up. At this stage we also attach our special labels so kids and carers know what they are all about!

So it's as easy as knitting the pattern and leaving the stuffing and stitching part to us!

It doesn't matter where you buy the wool from – we find dollar shops or department stores have a good range and they only cost about $2-$3 a ball. One ball should make either 3 or 4 of our cute dolls. Please use 8ply 100% acrylic knitting yarn only (not wool - due to possible wool allergies) and use colours similar to those in our ausEE logo - orange, purple and hot pink/maroon colours.

Please downlaod our ausEE Knitted Doll Pattern for more information.

This project is coordinated by our Treasurer, Marion who is a keen knitter herself!

Thanks for helping to put a smile on a child's face during a difficult time.
