ausEE Inc.

a charity dedicated to improving lives affected by eosinophilic disorders

Support

At ausEE we help support the entire family unit, from the carers to the children and adults who have been diagnosed with an EGID.

With that in mind we have a few support programs to help all around:

  1. In person support group meetings.
  2. Online support forums run through Facebook closed groups.
  3. Official Livewire group for 10-20 year olds.
  4. The Keep in touch program for children of all ages.

If you would like help navigating this website or have any general enquiries please phone ausEE's information line on 1300 923 043.

ausEE Inc. is operated by non-medical professionals and does not provide medical advice. Whilst we are able to provide a large amount of up to date general information on topics relating to EGIDs, we are not able to answer queries of a specific or personal nature. To discuss issues of concern to you personally, we suggest you contact your General Practitioner (GP). If appropriate, your GP can then refer you to a Gastroenterologist for further assessment, investigation and advice.

In an emergency always dial 000.

For non emergency telephone advice, please phone your local GP or specialist.

You can talk to a Registered Nurse 24 hours a day at healthdirect Australia on 1800 022 222.

The information shared on this site, our forums and at meetings is done so with the sole purpose of support and knowledge sharing. It is not intended to replace your medical professional in any way. Please consult your doctor before making any changes in the care of the EGID patient.
